Parliamentary Secretary for Mental Health, Suicide Prevention, and Men’s Behaviour Change
As the Member for Mordialloc in the Victorian Parliament, I am honoured to serve as Parliamentary Secretary to the Premier, the Honourable Jacinta Allan MP, and Parliamentary Secretary for Men’s Behaviour Change. Working closely with Premier Allan, I contribute to shaping policies that enhance the lives of Victorians.
A key focus of my role is addressing men’s violence against women, working alongside the Minister for the Prevention of Family Violence, Natalie Hutchins MP, and the Ministerial Action Working Group. This nation-leading initiative tackles the root causes of violence, with a particular focus on the influence of online content on boys' and men’s attitudes toward women and fostering respectful relationships. This groundbreaking role—the first of its kind in Australia—is a vital step toward making Victoria safer for women and children and preventing the devastating loss of lives to men’s violence.
Previously, I served as:
Parliamentary Secretary for Schools (2018–2022): Supporting education policy and advocating for children with additional needs to ensure every child can thrive.
Parliamentary Secretary for Health Infrastructure (2022–2024): Assisting in the rollout of critical health and mental health infrastructure during the post-pandemic recovery.
Parliamentary Secretary for Mental Health and Suicide Prevention (2022–2024): Driving suicide prevention initiatives and strengthening connections between individuals, communities, and mental health services.
These experiences have deepened my passion for creating safer, healthier, and more equitable outcomes for all Victorians.
